John Barneson  Managing Director,

Mr. Barneson has more than 10 years of banking and technology experience.
His background includes advising companies on cross-border mergers and
acquisitions and capital transactions in the U.S., Europe, Russia, and Asia.
Mr. Barneson has advised leading companies in wireless, enterprise software,
retail, hardware, online commerce and marketing in private equity, strategic
M&A, and public equity transactions.
Mr. Barneson has also held corporate development and management positions in the software, networking, and marketing spaces as a Founder, Vice President, and Managing Director in both the United States and Europe. As an entrepreneur, he has raised over $20 million dollars of growth capital from both private and strategic investors and has advised small businesses in strategic planning, business development, and finance. Mr. Barneson manages Bay Capital's growth and corresponding strategy. He has spoken at various technology events including technology events at Stanford University and Tech Ed, Microsoft's annual technology conference. He has advised companies in various sectors including business services, communications, energy, software, e-commerce, and retail. Mr. Barneson is a former finalist and judge for the Stanford Global Business Plan Competition and a former member of the #1 ranked Stanford Baseball Team. Mr. Hull has over 15 years of investment banking and financial services experience with Merrill Lynch, Robert W. Baird, and Smith Barney. Mr. Hull manages Bay Capital Partners’ strategic relationships and business development initiatives. He has a diverse background, working with companies in the technology, media, consumer, healthcare, and manufacturing sectors.
His background includes advising companies on cross-border mergers and acquisitions and capital transactions in the U.S., Europe, and Asia. Mr. Hull has advised many corporate clients including Cardinal Health, Baxter, Illinois Tool Works, USG, Tupperware. Mr. Hull has been actively involved with Bay Capital’s enterprise software, media, e-commerce and SAAS clients. He has worked with many senior executive teams to develop a variety of liquidity and exit strategies. Mr. Hull holds an MBA from the University of Denver’s Daniels College of Business, and a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Colorado State University.
